So we're at Enger Lofts today.

The Lake Superior Modern Quilt Guild has a quilt show and we have quilts in three different locations.

So Enger Lofts is one, Duluth Pottery is a And then we have a quilt hanging at bent paddle.

The Modern Quilt Guild is a local chapter of a national guild, and it's a group of women.

We're close to 40 women that are all modern quilters.

So modern quilting is a spinoff of traditional quilting.

So you can think of traditional quilting as coloring in the lines.

And modern quilting is giving us the freedom to color outside of the lines.

And sometimes we like to say it's really hard to define, but you know, when you see it, yes.

it's not your granny's quilting.

Yeah, right.

It's not a lot of people when we talk about quilting, they're like, Oh, my grandma quartet, which is awesome because my grandma quilted, and mine did too!

Yeah, yeah.

But it's different.

This is an evolution of what our grandmas did.
