Gloomy weekend doesn’t dent business optimism at the Shore

It was the first weekend people could ditch their masks and enjoy the sun on their faces.
With most COVID-19-relataed restrictions lifted, Shore towns prepared for crowds, but rainy weather put paid to hopes of a banner weekend. Still, hopes are high for a record summer. Many who made it to the Shore went without masks -- expressing varying levels of comfort.
