State government services face more cuts after yet another state revenue failure. The state Board of Equalization has projected revenue collections will fall 5.7% below the estimate, and the state faces an 878 million dollar budget hole for FY '18. The revenue failure will result in an immediate cut of 34.6 million dollars for all appropriated state agencies, including the Education Department.
