Changes to Oklahoma's Legislature

Clip: Season 4 Episode 427 | 4m

A state lawmaker seeks to change the way Oklahoma's legislature operates.

State representative Randy Grau wants to change the way Oklahoma’s legislature operates. Grau has filed a bill calling for a constitutional amendment which would require the legislature to draw up a budget every year, but take up policy legislation only in even numbered years. Grau says that would give lawmakers more time to work on the budget, while cutting back on the number of new laws.
