State lawmakers hear testimony about education funding levels during interim hearings.

Members of a House panel on Common Education heard testimony this week about the decline in education funding over the past five years. CCOSA Executive Director Steven Crawford and David Blatt with the Oklahoma Policy Institute told lawmakers schools have about 159 million dollars less to operate with than in 2009, while per pupil expenditures rank 49th in the nation.
