GLUTEN IS FOUND NATURALLY IN WHEAT, RYE AND BARLEY. MANY PEOPLE ARE OPTING FOR A DIET FREE OF GLUTEN BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE IT MAKES THEM FEEL BETTER OR HELPS THEM LOSE WEIGHT. BUT FOR A SMALL PORTION OF THE POPULATION WITH CELIAC DISEASE, A GLUTEN FREE DIET IS ESSENTIAL. FOR THEM, A NEW MANDATE FROM THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION WILL HELP TAKE THE STRESS OUT OF WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO EAT.
