Interior Secretary Sally Jewell met with students Wednesday at Riverside Indian School in Anadarko. The visit is part of the President’s Generation Indigenous initiative to remove barriers standing between Native youth and opportunities to succeed, and to reduce rural child poverty. Jewell was accompanied on the visit by Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford and U.S. Rep. Tom Cole.
