Stimulus grants moving SE Oklahoma forward

With grants and loans under the Federal Stimulus act, running water and broadband internet service have arrived for the first time in Southeastern Oklahoma. Hundreds of people have running water for the first time under a project that involved the USDA, Choctaw Nation, two state agencies and a Rural Water District. The broadband and mobile phone service project cost more than $56-million.
