We're drawing a Chihuahua.
We begin with the eyes.
It's a large oval or letter O shape.
Right next to that, from the other eye.
A letter C backwards.
Two little dots on the eyes for the pupils.
One and two.
Now for the nose.
Starting from the base of the eye.
Come out.
Point back in.
Up.
Up, up, up, up, up.
And add a little curved dash.
Next is the tip of the nose.
It's an oval or letter O shape and a curved line across the top.
We then want to fill in all behind that line.
Nice and even.
Take your time.
What do you call a Chihuahua in the winter?
A chili wawa.
For the neck, a line down and then a line up.
We're going to keep that line coming up all the way to about halfway the distance of the eye.
Next to the big ears, large ears, or come out point back down, or do the same thing for the interior or inside of the ear a little bit smaller.
We come up, point and down one two little hairs inside the ear.
Now for the top of the head.
It's just a nice scribbly little texture.
time.
We said on okay.
Chihuahua may be the smallest dog breed, but they've got big personalities.
We want to show that through the eyebrows and expression.
Very Eyebrows.
Bushy eyebrows.
A lot of personality.
The other ear is right behind here.
Now for the body.
Or to come back down to the neck where we left off.
Come around.
And then head a leg down around.
There's a number five and up over, down, round and up.
Right next to those.
We draw the other legs down, around and then down, around and in.
Now for the back line.
Over.
Curve down.
Connect to the legs Chihuahuas are named after the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.
The word Chihuahua derives from a native word meaning two waters.
at the paws.
One, two, 121212.
Tail.
Like that.
Tail wagging.
And then lastly sticking out that tongue.
Letter U with a line down the middle.
Finish off by signing your name.
Take pride in your work.
There's your Chihuahua.
Good job.
